Popular VJ And Actor Ananda Kannan Passes Away Due To Cancer
‘Rest In Peace Ananda Kannan’, Venkat Prabhu and RK Suresh paid condolences to Ananda.
The popular TV host and Tamil actor, Ananda Kannan, breathed his last on August 16 at the age of 48. Reportedly, Ananda lost the battle with cancer and he was under treatment for the same.
Ananda Kannan earned fame in the late ’90s and early 2000. The Tamil entertainment Industry is shocked due to the sudden demise news of Ananda. The social media is flooded with condolence messages for him. Updating the news, director Venkat Prabhu captioned - "A great friend a great human is no more!! #RIPanandakannan my deepest condolences.”

Ananda Kannan was a Singaporean Tamil and enjoyed a huge fan following during his VJ career due to his unique skills of hosting. He started his career by hosting a small screen in Singapore. Ananda later came to Chennai and took his career to the next level by joining Sun Music as a VJ.
The producer SK Suresh updated his Twitter account by paying condolences to Ananda. The producer wrote – “Rest in peace dear”.
Ananda Kannan marked his acting debut in 2008, with Venkat Prabhu’s “Saroja” by cameo appearance. He then appeared in Tamil movies such as “Mullum Malarum” and “Adhisaya Ulagam” are among the few movies.
